Today, we learned that Chicago's Wrigley Field is the 2nd oldest baseball field. For $100, what is the oldest US baseball field. For $10 ask them what team plays at Wrigley Field. I used to LOVE going there when I lived in Chicago with my nanny family. It reminded me so much of the old Mustang Field (Remember Cobb Field??). Lots of fun family memories in both places!
Next week, we will have a small stocking stuffer auction for kids to spend their money on. Kids will need to spend it all, as I collect it and switch colors for the new year. It gives all kids an equal chance again. Many kids are low on cash, as we just payed our Polar Express buy in. Speaking of that, watch for the details to come home on Friday attached to grade reports.
Just a reminder, if you get a chance to take a picture of your child by the Xmas tree or doing a Christmas function send it in. It needs to be from this year and your child also needs to be in the picture. I would like to make a slide show this weekend, so please have those emailed or printed out for me to scan in here at school by this Friday. Thanks!!
