Hi. Not much new today. We finished up our perimeter/area robots. Some kids are bringing them home to finish. I LOVE that they used so much creativity on these! We also finished up our MT History reports. Now, we will move onto our lessons. Kids will have a fun project to do with it as well. Details to come soon. Tomorrow, we will walk to our mystery field trip location. Please make sure your child brings $1. We will do this after lunch. Thanks. Fun! This morning, I talked to the kids about our upcoming "becoming a parent" lesson we do for Mother's Day. Your child will be given a baby hard boiled egg this Friday. They need to bring a bed (no bigger than a checkbook box). This event is AWESOME!!!!! It is always fun to see what they write to their mom's after being a mom/dad. :0) Beds need to be at school on Friday. (NOT before)Ask your child how they feel about this. Write EGG in the planner if they are willing to have a discussion about it for $50 tomorrow. In language, we started a new project called Noun Town. The kids have to do noun activities as a group. If they get them done correctly and cooperatively then they earn 2 clues a day. The clues help them solve the Noun Town Mystery. We shall see who our detectives are in here!!!!
