What a Fun First Day!

Hi! Well, we made it through day one and were still smiling at the end. :0) There is a lot of paperwork for you to read tonight. It is in their take home folder. Please take time to read through, sign where needed, and send back the signed sheets tomorrow. Please start with the letter from me, as I feel that is most important. Try to read the handbook with your child by Monday.

Today we did an activity with the book, The Kissing Hand. Your child made a special something for you today. Please find a very special place for it on the fridge and use it to display all their fun projects throughout the year.

For a bonus, ask your child tonight what their favorite part of today was. Write their response in their planner/agenda and tomorrow they will earn a $50 bonus at check in. We had a GREAT day!!!

Lastly, please, please, please send a water bottle full of ice water with your child tomorrow. It is super hot in here, and tomorrow they have PE. Also, make sure they have their tennis shoes on or in their back packs. Students may also bring in a healthy snack to eat around ten each day. No chips, cookies, or candy please. I do have a fridge in my room so they may bring yogurt or applesauce too. If bringing hard boiled eggs, please de-shell them at home first.
