Are you water cycled out? I am NOT! These stories are cracking me up! Too darn funny! Tonight is the last night. They need to precipitate back to the ground and then conclude in their new collection site. Examples have once again gone home. Students were told to bring them to you tonight to read and edit. Please take the time to read through them from beginning to end. Change misspelled words, capital letter and punctuation mistakes. IF you do this, I told the kids they would receive a HEFTY money bonus. So, have fun editing and then write the word DONE in their planner for their bonus tomorrow morning. Students must have their entire story done and ready for final draft tomorrow.
Raindrops are also due tomorrow. I will take their pictures tomorrow with their raindrops to put in their memory books. I will also put them on the blog.
Speaking of pictures, tomorrow is picture day. Get those "Sunday Best" clothes out for tomorrow. Students that make the effort to look spiffy will earn more bonus money. Smile!

Kids had their personal safety lesson today with our counselor, Mrs. Salazar, and their health teacher, Mrs. Buss. A blue explanation sheet came home today. Please read it and have a follow up discussion with your kiddo. Thanks.
We did not have computers again today due to the Safety lesson. So...if your child does a session on xtramath.org tonight they will once again earn $100 tomorrow. AND....CONGRATULATIONS to Jaeden! She made it out of addition and is now onto subtraction. She also mastered all the facts in less than 3 seconds! Wow, Great Job Jaeden! More to come soon I am sure. We will have computers tomorrow.
This morning at CC meeting, we warmed up our brains by doing the Cha Cha Slide. Arianna requested it, and it was super fun. I have posted a video for your enjoyment. Too cute!
