It was our last day with our Owls in the Family book. As you can see MOST of us had fun dissecting our owl pellets. We learned that owls swallow their prey whole. Then their digestion process filters out all the bones and hair. The owl then throws up the pellet and kids get to dissect them. Awesome!! We sure learned a lot! We will start our next book soon.

Just a reminder that volcanoes are due this Wednesday. Please keep at home until then. Volcanoes that are brought after Wednesday will be docked ten points a day. We are planning to activate them the following Tuesday.

We have PE tomorrow. Please remember those shoes.

Cassidy was last week's star of the week. She rocked it with a capital R. She is obviously very close to her family, especially her cousins. Pictures galore!!! Cass also shared some of her favorite movies, CDs and stuffed animals. What fun we had learning more about her! Next up is Shyler.

My family and I went to the Disney on Ice this weekend. WOW!!!! It was cool to see some of you there. I sat behind LeeRoy and his family! It was fun to watch you enjoy each other. Did you know I was watching you???? :0)

I am LOVING the fact that some of you are continuing to write the positive notes to your kids each day. I was hoping that would happen. :0) Kids will get paid for the notes for testing again starting Wednesday. Tonight though, as your child what animal breaks the law. Write the answer to this brain game question in the planner for $20 tomorrow.

Lastly, kids need to bring in 10 small to medium size rocks to build their Alaskan Inuksuks.

Have a super night!
