Hi there. We made it through testing session one. We talked afterward about slowing down and making sure to label all of our parts to the questions being asked. Overall, they did awesome!! Everyone got donuts for their effort. Tomorrow, I want them to SLOW down though and really take every second to find the answers. I had many that went back and checked their answers including Korbyn and Alex!! Way to go guys! Jaeden rocked on labeling her parts of the last constructive response question. WooHoo! Everyone did great!
How are those volcano projects coming? Thanks for bringing in all the Mentos. Kids are welcome to continue to donate them for $100 a pack.
Tomorrow we have our field trip to see the Irish Dancers. I am super excited as Ireland is my favorite place on Earth, and I have never even been there!!! I am determined to turn 40 there though! Bucket list. Darren, Ramiro, Makiah, Halle, LeeRoy, Shyler, Aaron, Brayden, Rhys, and Christopher need to bring in their permission slips if they want to attend though. If they have lost them, you can just write me a note granting your permission in their planner. We leave tomorrow at noon and will be back around 2.

Kids have nightly writing tonight for Ch. 4. We again went over the correct format for writing a letter. Kids need to look back at their score sheets to make sure they are not making the same mistakes. They also need to make sure they are adding in 10-15 details from today's chapter. They can ask Allison questions or make connections to her. Either way will earn them a point. Please check them tonight for accuracy and to see their grade on the last one.
