We had to say goodbye to our Junior Field, Mrs. Dejares, today. She did a great job with the kids, many one on one in the hall for math help! We will miss her. She kindly brought ice cream sundaes. So, we added that to Dayna's cake treats. Oh my! We wish Mrs. Dejares all the luck in the teaching field!!!
In math we did Perimeter and Area robots today. The kids had a very specific mission from NASA. They had to also be very creative. Kids had to really take their time on these ones. I am excited to see the finished products tomorrow. :0)
Our whale study continued today. Ask your child one fascinating fact they learned today about whales. If they can tell you one write the word GRAY in the planner for $50. (Then ask them why I would have you write GRAY.) If they can tell you that, write the word WHALE in the planner for an extra $10. :0)
We have PE tomorrow. Please remember those shoes.
Permission slips came home today for all of the end of the year happenings. Please mark EACH line and then sign below. Kids that bring it back tomorrow will earn $100.
