Hi there. I just have to again say that I love these kids! We did glitter today and can you believe it we got very little on the floor! Yay!!!!!! Just love these 4th graders! We have one more step to go. Tomorrow kids will need to explain each phase of the water cycle in their own words and then attach that card to the final project. I will take pictures tomorrow. :0) My favorite part was hearing the kids talk today. I heard phrases like, "This is fun!" and "I love being in the 4th grade!" I am so glad that they are liking things thus far. So much of school is paper/pencil and it is all very important, but I am happy I work in a place where I can take time to just have fun with learning too!
Tomorrow we will have that small candy, chip, and soda auction. Hopefully everyone will come home with something. They will need to buy into both their field trips tomorrow before they are allowed to participate however.
Midterms go home on Monday. Therefore, I will not be sending home grade reports tomorrow. They will go home on Monday instead. Please call if you have any questions or concerns.
Tomorrow is the spelling test, and all kids have library. Overdue notices went home today. Please help remind kids to bring back their books. Thanks.
We made flashcards today in S.S. for our states and capitals. They need to stay at school for study buddy time. However, now they know how to make them for at home study time as well. :0)
Lastly, ALL students came home with their nightly writing today. They need to edit it above using the correct symbols and then write their final copy tomorrow. Notebooks will be collected and graded tomorrow. You may want to double check their edits tonight as this is the first night they are doing them on their own.
