Hi! We had yet another busy day. So busy that I had NO time to build the NILE slideshow. I hope to get to it tonight. I have the pics all downloaded, but need to organize them. Quite a few to put together.
Thank you for returning the Red Ribbon permission slips. I still need them from Alex, Makiah, Megan, Shyler, Rhys, and Alyssa. Please try to get the back to me tomorrow if possible. Thanks.
Tomorrow my class will be celebrating Colleen Verigold's birthday just like they did in our story. We will be doing relay races, including the three legged race. Please remind kids to wear tennis shoes and high socks. Thanks.
Tomorrow we will have an awesome guest speaker...Kristin Kirchhaine from KULR 8 weather will be here. She will be adding onto all the weather things we have already touched on. It will be like a final review and then some. Word is that the news will be coming with her and kids will be interviewed. We have done a ton in class, and I for one, am so excited to see it shared with all of Billings. Good Job 4th Graders. :0)
Up above is a quick snip-it of our weather scavenger hunt we did today. I'll let the kids explain it to you. Fun!
Today, we also made leaf animals. They will be posted on the blog and in the hall soon. Ask your child what animal they made today. Write what they say in their planner for a $10 bonus tomorrow. Super fun!
Lastly, a special, special hug for Makiah and her family today. She is not feeling well, and we are all thinking about her. We hope that she is feeling better soon!!!
