Tomorrow is our field trip to Norm's Island and Zoo Montana. We will leave at 9:00 sharp. Please help remember to pack those lunches and dress in layers. It is hat day tomorrow for $1 but kids also need to think about an outside stocking cap as well. They can wear their fun hat over it. The ground at Norm's will most likely be muddy and wet, so boots would be best. Extra socks in the backpack for when we return also might be a good idea. No cameras please.
Bitterroot kids raised $363.00 today for wearing their pajamas!!! I emailed the Breakfast Flakes and they will announce it tomorrow morning during their email part of the show at 7:20 am. I would turn on 102.9 around 7:15 to make sure you don't miss it. So, so cool! I can't wait to drop it off tonight! Awesome!!!! If your child earned that dollar or the dollar for hat day tomorrow write EARNED in the planner for $20 tomorrow. If they just got it from you write NOT EARNED in the planner for $20 tomorrow. I just want to know how many listened and applied what they learned in CC meeting yesterday. Your honesty is appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks for turning in the spaghetti dinner counts. Everyone that turned it in today said they were coming!!!! That is so super exciting. And, a huge thank you to those of you that wrote a note that you were excited for this too on your sheet! That made my day!! We will call Olive Garden tomorrow after school with the final count. SO....please make sure your number of guests is returned tomorrow so we can include you. It would be horrible to run out of food if people come and we didn't know to order for them. Due tomorrow please. Thanks.
Our SE states and capitals test is coming in three days. Is your child ready? Do they know all the states locations on a map? Do they know all the matches for the states and capitals?? Please help quiz at home. Last quarter this did not go very well, so I am hoping this is taken a little more serious by kids this time. They have had SO much time to prepare and we have practiced at school as well.
We learned our 7s today in math class. There were only three that students should have to memorize. The rest are just opposites of ones they already know. A practice page came home tonight. If you have time, maybe you could grade it and see which ones they need help on. They are due tomorrow. We will test out on Thursday. Kids also had a review classwork as well. This will help them prepare for their upcoming Ch. 3 test. Next week, we will venture into graphing and advanced multiplication. Those that don't have the basics are GOING to struggle. There is no way for me to help them except tell them to use the many, many resources I have given them to memorize the 0-12 basic facts. I do have many that are so close to mastering them all on xtramath.org!!!! That is exciting!! Congratulations to Jaeden for mastering them all. She is now venturing on to division! Wow! Great job Jaeden!
Well, we will see all of your sweet little children tomorrow and one mom! Thanks Alex's mom! Remember, the bus leaves at 9 and kids need lunches and layers. (If you ordered a sack lunch, I have it at school). Have a great night!
