Conferences are under way. If for some reason you can't make your time, please call the office to reschedule. I still have some slots open for tomorrow.
Tonight the kids are to continue their thank you letter writing. Tonight they need to write to Sgt. Metzger from the jail. They can tell what they learned, how they are going to apply it later, their favorite part of the trip, or whatever comes to mind. It needs to be at least a half of a page and please help them remember to pick a page with nothing on the back. I will rip them out and send them off on Friday. Thanks.
In math we are over and under estimating. That lovely rounding skill has come back to haunt them again. :0)
Today at CC meeting, we read a book about telling the truth. Ask them what they learned from the story tonight about when, where, and how to tell the truth. They should say something to the effect of they should tell people in private to avoid embarrassment, and they should tell them with nice and loving words. Great lesson. Telling the truth is also the topic this week at Bitterroot that Mr. Senitte wants us to work on, as well as Rusty's Manner Motto. Keep talking at home about it too. No more my brother or sister did it! :0)
Have a great evening and kids are early out again tomorrow and Friday. Enjoy your time.
