As you can see, we had SNOW (instead of NO) fun today. We want snow! We want snow! Do you hear us Mother Nature???? We are hoping to hang these fun guys/gals up and inspire the skies to drop a lot of snow on us soon! What a fun 4th grade project! (Don't see your child? It might be because you checked no to posting them on the blog at the beginning of the year. If you want to change that, just write me a note in the planner.)

In music today, Mr. Goodheart passed out a letter for you. Please ask your child for it tonight. Students must have their recorders ready to go by Monday, January 23rd if they are bringing one from home. All the information you need is on the letter.

Math Test Review sheets went home tonight. The kids are supposed to read through them and circle the ones they need more work on. Then they are to ask you to make up some practice problems or allow them to get online to google some. The test is Friday. Questions? Please feel free to ask. They are going to do great. Speaking of math, some kids have classwork for homework. I reminded them three times throughout the day to pull it back out, but they must have wanted it for homework. It is due tomorrow.

I have posted the States and Capitals for our new region in Social Studies. Breathe...there are only four this time. Test will be not this Friday, but next. The format will be the same as always.

We counted up our Pennies for Patients today. In three days, we have collected $89.21! Wowzers!!! Way to go team Erickson. We still have over two weeks to collect so have them keep checking those couch cushions, car seats, and giving grandma those puppy dog eyes. We are going to win that pizza party! Yum!!! Jaeden was our top contributor this week with over 34 dollars!!!! Thank you to everyone! And a special thank you to Dayna for bringing in a counting bank so we can keep track as we go. What a fun X-mas present for her. Thanks for letting us borrow it!

In math today, we talked about two BULLY triangles. Ask your child what the two bully triangles are and write them in for $10 bonus tomorrow.

Have a great night!
