Hello there! Well, we are saddened by the fact that today was Sadie's last day with us. She is a southern bell at heart. We wish her all the luck in the world in Alabama!!!! Sweet Home Alabama for her. Enjoy your time with your grandpa Sadie! We will miss you!

We did a ton of internet projects today. We have learned that facts can be proven. So...every time the kids found a fact about owls today they had to find it to be true on the internet!!! I think they learned even more than the fact they were looking up. Owls are so fun!

In reading, we read about Wally Amos. He was famous for something. Ask your child what it was and what they got today in class. :0) Yum!!!!

Today, kids did Alaska research on the internet. Most finished, but some need to use the internet tonight to finish up. If they don't have internet we talked about working solutions for them. They learned a ton!!! It will help in the upcoming chapters in our read aloud book. Thanks for looking at those letters to Allison last night. You will see a rubric to see how I graded them and will grade the ones in the future. I wish Allison was real, because some of these questions they are asking are really awesome! Sure would like to hear the answers! Ask them to tell you one thing they learned today that they didn't know before. If they can, write ALASKA in the planner for $10 tomorrow.

Science was passed back today. Yesterday, kids were given the chance to go back and redo answers they got wrong to better their grade. Most did. WooHoo!!! That is awesome! Some however, did not. If they did not, then they have it to show you tonight. They need your signature on it, and they MUST bring it back TOMORROW! Those that don't know the consequence: no movie on Wednesday.

Lastly, kids can earn $100 tomorrow just by getting dressed! It is crazy socks day tomorrow. Please encourage your child to wear their craziest socks tomorrow. Remember, it is cold outside!!!

Tomorrow is the West States and Capitals test. Is your child ready??

Have an awesome night (hopefully wind free)! Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!!
